In the ensuing years, most everyone learned the other talents genetically bestowed upon Asian people at birth: kung fu, violin, spelling bees, karaoke, etc.
But only recently have the more superhero-like secrets of Asian people been exposed.
With films like Hero, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and The House of Flying Daggers getting mainstream distribution in the US, everyone is realizing that: Asian people can fly!

The initial press coverage of Chai Soua Vang uncloaked the fact that: Asian* people are talented sharpshooters!
Today's New York Times, alas, divulged another secret: Asian people have mystical powers and can invoke divine protection to cure sick people!
Unfortunately, one Minnesota paper also leaked the kryptonic weakness of Asian people: we can't speak English.
